Agile manufacturing is an approach to manufacturing which is focused on meeting the needs of customers while maintaining high standards of quality and controlling the overall costs involved in the production of a particular product. This approach is geared towards companies working in a highly competitive environment, where small variations in performance and product delivery can make a huge difference in the long term to a company's survival and reputation among consumers.

In Agile Manufacturing Lab the following companies could find support: Production oriented companies - these are all companies that aim to set up a new or improved production process for a particular product. Industry 4.0 technology solution providers - these are all companies that offer technology solutions in the Industry 4.0 areas - automation, cyber security, additive manufacturing, simulation, the cloud, augmented reality, big data, internet of things and integration.

We are looking for all kind of technologies like AI, blockchain, IoT, Robotics, Autonomous Systems, Human machine interaction, Motion and language tech, HPC, Big data and Data mining, AR/VR, Cyber security, Cloud computing, Additive manufacturing, Photonics, Broadband and other communication networks (5G).

Your company is appropriate if you can already proof the functionality of your solution and if you are looking for venture capital, strategic investment, customers or partners for joint pilot projects or development cooperation.

We are offering you free of charge participation on:

a) PITCH DAY EVENT
You can present your solution directly to German Industry Corporates.

b) ACCELERATION PROGRAM
You have a possibility to join (1) On-line workshops where you can improve your readiness before coming into the stage on a Pitch Day Event, and (2) 1:1 mentorship to help you identify appropriate support for use case demonstration project with corporate.

What are the selection criteria?

We will be selecting applying startups and scaleups based on 3 key criteria, outlined below. This ensures selected startups will receive the maximum benefit from the program

1. Maturity

Startups and scaleups who have been operating for at least 1 year and who have achieved a minimum 100.000 Euro in turnover

2. Traction & Product

Startups and scaleups who have a product/service that is already on the market

3. Location

Startups and scaleups who are based in Europe and who are looking to scale across Europe
