10 scale-ups selected for the Smart Region Lab

After a day-long jury session and intense follow-up discussion, the partners of Scaleup4Europe have chosen the ten scale-ups who will become the first cohort of the brand-new cross-country accelerator program.

The selected scale-ups hail from five different countries (Germany, Austria, Croatia, Italy and Switzerland). Within the Smart Region Lab, they focus on different challenges in the areas of Smart Infrastructure, Mobility, Smart Environment, and Building & Construction.

To become selected, the scale-ups had to prove their maturity, significant traction in their market, and be located in Europe or associated countries. Of the many highly qualified scale-ups who applied, 20 were invited to a virtual pitch in front of a jury composed by the Scaleup4Europe partners.
